In our four combined heat and power plants (CHP), we use forest wood chips and forest residues as fuel for electricity generation.
To use biomass and the primary energy it contains as efficiently as possible, we are dedicated to the best possible and optimized use of heat and steam both by-products of the cogeneration process.
The optimized use of all forms of energy resulting from the cogeneration process are measured through plant and fuel efficiency ratios.
In the light of the changes in the international and national regulatory frameworks we expect the most important development to take place in the field of medium- and small-sized, as well as micro-plants.
For our customers, we are therefore currently developing integrated concepts with compact, decentralized solutions where appropriate fuel efficiency can be achieved through a high degree of heat utilisation at the site.
In this way, heat and steam from biomass can be made accessible at affordable prices for industrial and medium-sized companies as well as for municipalities.
Apart from generating electricity, heat and steam from on biomass, Cycleenergy is continuously reviewing projects in the field of geothermal energy and hydropower, both base-load capable forms of renewable energy, in order to drive the energy transition forward.
